JANUARY 2012 - NEW DAKIS WEBSTORE MANAGER NOW LIVE
 Dakis is releasing a brand new generation of Online Store Manager (mydakis.com). Part of this exciting new release includes a new job downloader code security feature. To take advantage of this new security feature, a new job downloader code as been generated for your account. You need to update your 40 character auto configuration code to receive Prints and Photo Factory orders.

Manage your users’ rights: creating login and password
accounts for your staff and managing their rights
DAKIS PORTAL - You can now manage your users and set their credentials; set their username, password, email, and also manage which sections of your account they can access. You now have a better control over what your users are able to access.
Manage your WebStore product categories presentation (live February 2012)
You can now modify the way you list your WebStore’s product categories. You can also create new Product Category Groups. This gives you more flexibility to present your product offering the way you want it!
WebPIM (Product Information Management)
The launch of the WebPIM is a big step forward. You can now benefit from the best of both worlds: you have access to Dakis Managed Product Information service, saving you time and money to access Dakis enormous product data pool, and you can now also create your own unique custom products. This hybrid solution is seamlessly integrated in your account.

WebPIM: Create your own custom products
Once you log into your account, you can now access the WebPIM. Look at the top of the screen to see the WebPIM link. In this new module, you can create your own custom products. Once you create a new product, it will be available to price and activate in your account’s Inventory section.
This is a great solution to create product bundles, refurbished items, unique items or specialty items not covered by Dakis’ Managed Product Information Service.
If you don’t have the time to create your own custom products, remember that you can still count on Dakis’ Managed Product Information Service. Did you know that we also have a service plan to create custom items just for you?
Dakis Support menu – Product Request: If you subscribed to Dakis’ Managed Product Information Service and a product is missing in our database, keep going through the normal product request process by going to the Support menu in your account and then make a Product Request.

SHOPPING CART - Bill to and ship to flexibility
This new feature provides a convenient way to allow consumers to enter a different ship to and bill to information during the checkout process.
To activate this feature, you must login to your account.

Click on main menu “Shopping Cart”

Click on left-side menu “Billing/Shipping addresses”

Click on the check box and “Apply”.
A good reason to activate the bill to and ship to feature is to offer your customers with more choices to purchase from your store. Some consumers find it convenient to have an item shipped to an address other than their credit card billing address. They might be consumers shopping from work or for their business.
This feature might not be for everyone. The initial reason we only allowed to accept the same bill to and ship to information was to reduce fraud. Before you activate this feature you should better evaluate the pros and cons. You might also want to review PayPal’s Seller Protection guidelines.

Your shopping cart payment methods, shipping options, shipping fees, and taxes are set in your mydakis.com account and not directly in PayPal account.
NEW REPORTS
ADDITIONAL FEES (ENVIROMENTAL FEES)
In some States and Provinces it is required by law to collect environmental fees on specific product categories or items. We have upgraded the system to make it easier and faster for you to manage these fees and to apply taxes on these fees when required.
To setup your environmental fees:

Login to your mydakis.com account,

Click on main menu “Shopping Cart”

Click on left side menu “List” under Additional Fees On Merchandise

Set your environmental fees by State or Province by product categories and/or directly on specific products.
