Sales Director
Dakis is a leader in the development of innovative technological solutions for independent retailers in the photo, electronics, and smart home industries. We are looking for a Sales Director who is passionate about retail, strategic, and results-driven—someone capable of leading a team, expanding our client base, and positioning the Dakis brand as a leading reference in the industry.
Main Responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and implement sales and recurring revenue strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Define sales targets and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual budget planning.
- Act as a success coach and generate sales opportunities through regular client interactions.
Sales Development
As an active senior field representative:
- Identify new business and cross-selling opportunities to grow our client portfolio both in Canada and internationally.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—including demos and contract negotiations.
- Represent Dakis at industry events, promote our solutions, and build relationships with clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring proper use of our solutions and a high level of satisfaction.
- Implement processes, tools, and performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize commercial efficiency.
Marketing and Communications
- Identify new business and cross-selling opportunities to grow our client portfolio both in Canada and internationally.

- Implement processes, tools, and performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize commercial efficiency.
- Define and execute the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the marketing, development, and customer success teams (digital campaigns, events, content, newsletters, SEO/SEM, social media, etc.).
- Increase brand awareness of Dakis through strategic partnerships and targeted communication to existing and potential clients.
- Measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and adjust tactics accordingly.
Desired Profile
Skills and Experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales and/or marketing, ideally in technology, e-commerce, or SaaS software.
- Proven experience in team management and growth strategy development.
- Strong command of complex sales cycles, from prospecting to closing.
- Highly analytical and results-oriented mindset.
- Basic English proficiency is required, as we have English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers. The role may occasionally require communication in English.
Assets
- Experience in retail or the photography industry.
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Capsule CRM, Microsoft CRM, and/or other marketing and CRM tools.
- Creativity, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
