Job description & responsibilities

You are responsible for planning and executing product development throughout the product lifecycle, including: defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with the software development and UI/UX design team to ensure product development is timely and in a way that customer satisfaction goals are met. In short, strategy, execution, and user understanding.

• Work with key stakeholders to refine the product vision, define features and product roadmap, and manage priorities
• Be an expert on the product, voice of the customer and the competition, and incorporate user learning into the business to further improve the strategy and product
• Provide an agile approach and documentation containing features with their priority level and corresponding rationale
• Develop stories, personas and flowcharts to support the development of your project
• Good judgment and ability to present options to stakeholders to gain buy-in for your proposed solutions and plans
• Play a leadership role to guide the software development and UI/UX design team and ensure timely delivery in an agile development process
• Translate business requirements into well-defined technical requirements
• Responsible for establishing and meeting development timelines defined with the Technical Development Manager. Document, communicate and train cross-functional teams on new features and releases
• Document new features
• Act as a dynamic leader within the company. As a Senior Product Manager, you bridge the gap between the founder’s vision and the company’s products. You facilitate good communication between yourself, the leadership and the product development team.

Main qualifications and desired skills

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager
• 3+ years of experience in a job in the SaaS market
• Proven success in defining and launching great products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorization
• Ability to define and measure success
• Experience using project management software and best practices
• Experience using process and workflow software and best practices
• Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
